As tensions continue to mount, the Germans set their sights on the local school. They demand that the school be used to house German soldiers, and the French teachers are forced to comply. The teachers are outraged, but they have no choice but to follow orders. As the German soldiers move in, they begin to clash with the French villagers, and the situation quickly becomes volatile.

In the midst of the chaos, the residents of the village are forced to make difficult choices. Some choose to collaborate with the Germans in order to protect their families, while others risk their lives to fight for the Resistance. As the Germans tighten their grip on the village, the residents must find a way to survive, no matter the cost.

Overall, "Settling Scores" is a tense and gripping episode of A French Village, full of drama and suspense. The show does an excellent job of exploring the complex moral dilemmas faced by the villagers, as they are forced to make impossible choices in order to survive. The performances are strong across the board, and the writing is top-notch, making for an excellent viewing experience. If you're a fan of historical dramas or war films, A French Village is definitely worth checking out.
