Ep 1. All in the Name of Love

The popular reality television show 90 Day Fiance has returned with a brand new twist in its latest spinoff series, 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way. In this series, fans will watch as couples from different corners of the world face the ultimate test of their love— uprooting their entire lives to move to a foreign country to be with their partner.

Season 1, episode 1 is titled "All in the Name of Love" and serves as the introduction to the six couples who will be featured throughout the season. Despite their vastly different circumstances, each of these couples has decided to put everything on the line for the chance at true love.

The episode begins by introducing the couple Corey, a 31-year-old from Mill A, Washington and Evelin, a 26-year-old from Engabao, Ecuador. Corey has already been living in Ecuador for a year and is now getting ready to propose to Evelin, with hopes that she will agree to leave her home country and move back to the United States with him. However, upon arriving in Ecuador, Corey quickly realizes that the relationship has gone stale and that Evelin may not share the same romantic feelings as him anymore.

Next up we are introduced to Tiffany, a 27-year-old from Frederick, Maryland and Ronald, a 29-year-old from South Africa. Tiffany is excited to start a new life with Ronald, but she does have some reservations. South Africa is a country with a high crime rate, and Ronald has a history of drug addiction. Tiffany must decide if Ronald's love is worth the potential risks and sacrifices that come with moving so far away from her family and friends.

The third couple featured in this episode is Laura, a 51-year-old from Eustis, Florida, and Aladin, a 29-year-old from Qatar. Laura has never left the United States and is ready to explore a new life with her young lover in the Middle East. Though Laura has never been married before, Aladin is her third engagement and she is determined that he will be the man she spends the rest of her life with.

The fourth couple featured is Jenny, a 60-year-old from Palm Springs, California, and Sumit, a 30-year-old from Delhi, India. The couple met online and developed a strong bond, despite the 30-year age difference and their vastly different backgrounds. Jenny has sold all her possessions and is ready to start a new life with Sumit, but she knows that the culture shock of moving to India may take its toll on her.

The fifth and final couple featured in this episode is Deavan, a 22-year-old from Salt Lake City, Utah, and Jihoon, a 29-year-old from South Korea. Deavan is pregnant and Jihoon is excited to become a father, but he does not have a stable job. Deavan has always wanted to visit South Korea, so the couple decides to take the risk and move there together.

Throughout 'All in the Name of Love', viewers will see each couple navigate their own unique sets of challenges as they decide whether or not they are willing to leave everything they know behind for the chance at a new life with their partner. All of the couples are risking a lot in the name of love, and it remains to be seen which of these relationships will withstand the ultimate test of moving to a foreign country together.
