As the world continues to navigate the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, the couples of 90 Day Fiancé: Self-Quarantined are faced with difficult decisions and sacrifices in episode 5, appropriately titled "Making Sacrifices."
First, viewers catch up with Colt and Debbie, who are still in quarantine together in their Las Vegas home. While Debbie admits to feeling stir-crazy, Colt is finding ways to keep himself entertained, including working on his fitness and attempting to perfect his chef skills. The two also discuss their upcoming trip to Brazil to visit Jess, and the precautions they'll need to take in order to safely travel.
Next, we check in with David and Annie, who are also quarantined together in Arizona. After seeing a news report about the severity of the virus in New York City, David is worried about his daughter Ashley, who lives there. They make the difficult decision to send her a care package of supplies, but not without taking some extra precautions to ensure it's safe.
Back in Las Vegas, Lisa and Usman are also dealing with the impacts of the pandemic. Usman is still in Nigeria, and Lisa is struggling with the uncertainty of when they'll be able to reunite. She confides in her friend and fellow 90 Day Fiancé star, Darcey Silva, about how difficult it is to not know when she'll see Usman again. Darcey offers some words of encouragement, reminding Lisa that they're strong enough to weather this storm.
Over in California, Caesar is still reeling from his recent breakup with Maria. He's spending his time in quarantine searching for love online, but he's not having much luck. He admits to feeling lonely and wonders if he'll ever find someone who truly loves him.
Finally, we catch up with Ed and Rosemarie, who are still trying to make their long-distance relationship work from opposite sides of the world. Ed is in California, while Rose is in the Philippines. They discuss the difficulties of being apart during this global crisis, and Ed opens up about his fears of losing Rose for good.
Throughout the episode, one thing becomes clear: the pandemic is affecting everyone's lives in different ways, but they're all making sacrifices and doing what they can to stay safe and connected to their loved ones. While the future remains uncertain, the couples of 90 Day Fiancé: Self-Quarantined are finding strength in each other as they navigate this difficult time.
