Asuelu and Kalani continue to navigate their cultural differences and try to raise their two young sons. Asuelu’s mother visits from Samoa and tensions rise as she expresses her disappointment in the couple’s living situation. Kalani becomes frustrated with Asuelu’s lack of initiative in helping around the house and with their children. They seek counseling to try and improve their relationship.
Pedro and Chantel return from their trip to the Dominican Republic and try to move forward with their marriage. However, tensions continue to flare between Chantel and Pedro’s family, particularly his sister Nicole. Pedro and Nicole get into a heated argument at a family dinner and Chantel is caught in the middle.
Molly is struggling to keep her business afloat and relies on her teenage daughter, Olivia, to help her out. However, Olivia is hesitant to take on such a big responsibility and feels like it’s affecting her social life. Molly’s ex-husband, Luis, makes a surprise visit and reveals that he got married without informing Molly, leaving her heartbroken and confused.
Russ and Paola are dealing with the aftermath of Paola’s miscarriage. Paola is still struggling with her grief and resents the fact that Russ wants her to seek medical help. Russ tries to support her in his own way, but they’re both having a hard time communicating with each other.
Anfisa has decided to start college but struggles with the demands of school and her relationship with Jorge. Jorge is still dealing with legal issues stemming from his arrest, which puts a strain on their relationship. Anfisa starts to feel like Jorge isn’t taking responsibility for his mistakes and begins to question whether or not they have a future together.
Overall, this episode is a rollercoaster of emotions as the couples try to work through their various issues and obstacles. Some relationships are stronger than ever while others are breaking down before our eyes. As always, the drama is intense and will leave audiences on the edge of their seats.
