Tom, greatly disturbed by his daughter Laura's outburst at the party the previous episode, urges her to apologize to Shay. In his own way he convinces his daughter to make amends and correct her mistake. Laura takes her father's advice and visits Shay's farm to make amends, but soon discovers that Shay may have a secret. Meanwhile, George is in trouble with the crowd he's been spending time with. When the fishing crowd he's been hanging out with believes he is stealing their fish, he is threatened with violence. When George tells everyone in town about his predicament, they wonder whom they should believe, George or the fishermen who hailed him. Will George be able to save his reputation? Or will he succumb to the false accusations? Simultaneously, Kevin and Arlo are stuck for ideas on what they can do during their downtime in a small town. After their constant requests to do something fun, Hannah obliges them and sets out to find out what they can do. They soon discover a boat lying around that they can use to explore an island. When they go to explore, however, they quickly realize that their little adventure is a lot more dangerous than they originally thought. What challenges will they face on their adventure? Will they overcome their fears, or will they succumb to the obstacles? Finally, the Knight family meets the newest member of the community, a young Australian woman named Jan. The Knots Landing-loving, nubuo-romantic, Jan is a welcome change of pace for the town's inhabitants. She is looking for a fresh start in town and is excited to meet new people and find new opportunities. The Knights invite her over for dinner, and Jan offers up her unique perspective regarding the small town. She discovers a talent in the simple life and is intrigued by the people she's met. What will Jan discover in the small town? What new adventures will come her way?
