Ep 8. By the Book

Paul and Cate are excited to be able to have some alone time together, without kids, for the night. The kids will be spending the night at their grandparent's house, and Paul and Cate are thrilled to finally have the house to themselves. However, things don't go quite according to plan when they realize they can't remember where they hid their special something they were saving for this occasion.

Feeling flustered and frustrated, Paul and Cate go through their various hiding spots, but can't seem to find what they're looking for. As they continue their search, they come across a book they haven't seen in years - a book about sexual positions and techniques.

Feeling adventurous, they decide to try out some of the positions described in the book. However, things don't go as planned and they end up injuring themselves in the process. Feeling embarrassed and ashamed, they realize that maybe they should have stuck to their usual routines.

Meanwhile, the kids are having a blast at their grandparent's house, but things take an unexpected turn when Bridget realizes she's left her diary at home. Panicking, she calls Kerry at home and begs her to find the diary before their parents read it. Kerry, being the loyal sister she is, agrees to help Bridget out and embarks on a mission to break into their own home to retrieve the diary.

However, what Kerry finds inside the house is not what she expected. Feeling guilty for invading her sister's privacy, she ends up confessing to Bridget and they both have a heart-to-heart conversation about the importance of trust and honesty in their relationship.

In the end, the parents and kids are reunited and everyone learns valuable lessons about communication, trust, and the importance of sticking to what you know instead of trying to reinvent the wheel.
