Ep 14. Words

In the 14th episode of season 4 of 7th Heaven, entitled "Words," the Camden family members are each having their own struggles with communication.

Eric and Annie are dealing with a breakdown in their communication as Eric becomes increasingly distant and preoccupied with his work at the church. Meanwhile, Annie is trying to juggle her responsibilities as a mother, wife and minister and is feeling overwhelmed.

Matt, the eldest Camden child, is struggling with his writing class and his limited vocabulary. He feels frustrated and inferior compared to his more articulate classmates.

Simon, the second youngest Camden child, is dealing with his own communication issues. He has a stutter and is nervous about a school presentation.

Mary, the eldest daughter, is having trouble communicating with her boyfriend, Robbie, about their relationship. She is frustrated with his lack of commitment and is unsure about where they stand.

Lastly, Ruthie, the youngest Camden child, is going through her own struggles with communication as she is learning how to read and spell correctly.

Throughout the episode, the family members work through their communication issues, with Eric and Annie seeking counseling to improve their marriage, and Matt seeking help from his teacher to expand his vocabulary. Simon's parents help him practice his presentation and Mary has a heart-to-heart conversation with Robbie about their future together.

In the end, each family member comes to realize the importance of effective communication in their relationships and everyday life. They learn that the right words can break down barriers and bring people closer together.
