Ep 10. Idol Time At The Mall

In the 10th episode of 6teen season 1, titled "Idol Time At The Mall", the gang's favourite band, The Candied Apples, is coming to the mall to promote their latest album. The episode follows each of the six teens as they try to get closer to the band and even audition to become their opening act.

Jude, Wyatt, and Jonesy start off by helping the Candied Apples move their equipment into the mall. During this time, they try to impress the band members by showing off their skills. Jude attempts to impress them with his skateboarding tricks, while Wyatt tries to show off his DJing skills. Jonesy, on the other hand, offers to be their personal assistant.

Meanwhile, Caitlin and Nikki decide to audition to become the band's opening act. Caitlin has always dreamt of becoming a rock star, so she jumps at this opportunity. Nikki, on the other hand, only wants to audition to impress a boy she likes. They both have different styles of music, and once they realize this, they decide to form a group with each other.

Lastly, Jen is determined to interview the band for her school's TV station. She tries to convince the band's manager, but he tells her that only famous journalists are allowed to interview the Candied Apples. Jen doesn't give up and comes up with a plan to interview them while they are shopping at the mall. This plan doesn't go quite as expected, but Jen eventually gets her interview with the band.

As the day goes on, each of the teens faces their own obstacles in achieving their goals. Jude, Wyatt, and Jonesy accidentally ruin the Candied Apples' equipment, and need to work together to fix it. Caitlin and Nikki struggle to come up with a song that works for both of their styles. Jen's interview doesn't go as planned, but she eventually gets her chance to ask her questions.

In the end, the Candied Apples announce that they have picked Nikki and Caitlin's group as their opening act. Jude, Wyatt, and Jonesy are relieved their mistakes haven't ruined the band's concert. Jen is thrilled to have interviewed the Candied Apples, even though her segment didn't air on TV.

The episode ends with the concert, where Nikki and Caitlin's group performs in front of a cheering crowd. All of the teens watch the concert together, happy to have experienced this amazing day.
