In the season 4 premiere of 3rd Rock from the Sun, titled "Doctor Solomon's Traveling Alien Show (2)," the Solomons continue their quest to learn about human culture by attending a carnival. While there, they stumble upon a sideshow called "Doctor Solomon's Traveling Alien Show," which they initially believe to be a hoax.
However, as they watch the show, they realize that the other aliens on display are, in fact, genuine extraterrestrials. The Solomons quickly realize that they are in danger of being discovered themselves and scramble to come up with a plan.
Meanwhile, Dick (played by John Lithgow) becomes enamored with the carnival's fortune-teller, Mary (played by Jane Curtin), who predicts that he will meet someone special in the near future. Despite his skepticism, Dick can't help but be drawn to her and becomes determined to make her prediction come true.
As the episode progresses, the Solomons find themselves facing a number of challenges, from evading the carnival's security guards to dealing with the other aliens in the sideshow. Along the way, they learn important lessons about trust and teamwork, and ultimately manage to emerge from the carnival unscathed.
