Liz Lemon, head writer of the fictional sketch comedy show "TGS with Tracy Jordan," finds herself in a challenging position when her eccentric new boss, Jack Donaghy, assigns Tracy Jordan, an unpredictable and highly demanding movie star, to her staff. Liz struggles to manage Tracy, while balancing the demands of her professional and personal life. Meanwhile, the rest of the TGS staff faces their own challenges, including Jenna Maroney's desperate attempts to stay in the spotlight, and the constant interference of network executive Devon Banks. In this episode, titled "Rosemary's Baby," Liz is determined to prove herself as a capable leader and writer, but her efforts are thwarted when her former boss, Rosemary Howard, returns with a scathing tell-all book about their time working together.

The episode opens with Liz nervously awaiting the arrival of her former boss, Rosemary Howard (guest star Carrie Fisher), who is set to promote her new memoir, "Queen of Jordan." Liz is anxious about how Rosemary will portray her in the book, especially since she didn't treat her well while working together. As soon as Rosemary arrives, Liz is bombarded with criticism and questions about her personal life, making her feel even more uncomfortable.

Meanwhile, Tracy decides he wants to create a pornographic video game, and enlists the help of Frank, one of the writers on TGS, to develop it. Liz is concerned about the impact this will have on the show, but when Jack tells her that Tracy's contract demands must be met, she reluctantly agrees to let the project move forward.

As Liz struggles to deal with both Rosemary and Tracy, the rest of the TGS staff is dealing with their own issues. Jenna is trying to remain relevant, but her new song - a tribute to the TV show "Night Court" - is not going over well. Kenneth the page is trying to impress Liz by showcasing his new friendship with Tracy, but his attempts only serve to annoy Liz even more.

As the tension between Liz and Rosemary escalates, Liz decides to take drastic measures to protect her reputation. She enlists the help of Frank to write a tell-all book of her own, which will paint Rosemary in a negative light. However, when Rosemary confronts Liz about the book, Liz realizes that she doesn't want to stoop to her level and decides not to publish it.

The episode ends with Liz finally standing up to Rosemary and telling her how she really feels. Tracy's video game project is also abandoned, after Jack reconsiders the impact it would have on the network's reputation. Overall, "Rosemary's Baby" is a hilarious and entertaining episode that showcases the struggles and absurdity of working in the entertainment industry.
