Day 6: 11:00 P.M.-12:00 Midnight is a highly intense and fast-paced episode of the popular television show "24" Season 6. The episode starts with Jack Bauer, the show's main protagonist, returning to CTU headquarters after successfully stopping the assassination of President Wayne Palmer, however, his troubles are far from over.

The episode sets a fast pace from the get-go with the audience waiting for events to unfold. In the previous season, CTU was accused of being infiltrated by shadow agents, and this episode brings the situation to a head when Miles Papazian and Karen Hayes inform Acting President Noah Daniels of the supposed breach. Meanwhile, Jack himself is suspected of being party to the events that led to the assassination attempt on President Palmer.

As the episode progresses, Jack works with Chloe to get the evidence that will prove his innocence. In the meantime, Daniels orders Bill Buchanan, the director of CTU Los Angeles, to execute Jack, suspecting him as working for foreign agents. This leads Chloe to devise a plan to smuggle Jack out of CTU's headquarters. She seeks the aid of Morris O'Brian to copy key records onto a flash drive, with the hope of using these to exonerate Jack. To add on to the pressure, Jack's former partner, Curtis Manning, whom he doused in cold water to prevent from helping terrorist Fayed has self-administered a drug that will cause his heart to stop beating if he does not receive the antidote in twenty-four hours. He deduces that his problems must be connected to Jack, and the two end up in a fight near the end of the episode.

As the episode progresses, Jack and Chloe realize that someone from CTU is working against them as a lead about their plan gets leaked. The evidence points to Milo Pressman, who had come in close contact with them a few moments before. However, it is later discovered that Nadia Yassir, the new Director of Operations, was the real mole. While trying to cover her tracks, she unintentionally puts Chloe in danger. Jack, in his typical fashion, saves her, and they finally obtain the evidence to exonerate him.

The episode ends with Jack calling a press conference to clear his name. However, he realizes that his mission must come first, and heads off to interrogate Gredenko, a lead to stopping the terrorist's nuclear strike. The episode ends on a cliffhanger moment with audiences left in suspense about what will happen next.

Overall, Day 6: 11:00 P.M.-12:00 Midnight is a highly intense episode of "24", that keeps the audiences on the edge of their seats. The fast pace, unpredictable turns and twists, and cliffhanger end make for an engaging watch. The strong performance by Kiefer Sutherland as Jack Bauer and Mary Lynn Rajskub's portrayal of Chloe O'Brian add to the captivating nature of the show. "24" has always been known for its unpredictability, and this episode is no exception.
