Day 6: 6:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. is the thirteenth episode of the sixth season of the hit action-thriller series '24'. This episode starts with the aftermath of the decision Jack Bauer made at the end of the previous episode. He chooses to hand over the Russian Consul Anatoly Markov to a group of Russian gangsters in exchange for the location of the suitcase nukes. Bauer doesn't do this because he wants to, but because he has to. He is convinced that time is running out and he needs to do everything possible to prevent the terrorist attacks.
Meanwhile, Vice President Noah Daniels is dealing with the crisis in a different way. He is more focused on politics and military actions than on finding the nukes. He instructs the military to move forward with Operation Sunrise, which will launch a full-scale assault on the remaining members of the terrorist group. However, this operation is not approved by President Wayne Palmer, who is currently in a coma after being poisoned.
Chloe O'Brian, who is working with Bauer, discovers a lead on the suitcase nukes. She learns that the nukes are being kept in a heavily guarded facility in Valencia, California. Bauer decides to personally lead the mission to retrieve the nukes. However, a complication arises when they discover that a group of mercenaries has been hired to protect the nukes.
Back in Washington DC, Reed Pollock, the assistant to the Chief of Staff advises Tom Lennox to take advantage of the President's coma to implement the martial law. He encourages Lennox to make a bold move that would increase his chances of taking the presidency. Lennox, who has no experience or interest in politics, is hesitant to do it, but Pollock is persistent. Moments later, Lennox receives a call from the Vice President, who gives him the green light to launch Operation Sunrise.
As the mission to retrieve the nukes progresses, Bauer and his team face a number of obstacles. They encounter a group of hostile mercenaries who engage in a fierce firefight. Bauer realizes that there is a traitor in their ranks who is feeding information to the mercenaries. With time running out, Bauer has to find the traitor and stop the nukes from being detonated.
Day 6: 6:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. is a tense and action-packed episode that keeps the viewers on the edge of their seats. The stakes are high, and there is no room for error. With each passing minute, the threat of a nuclear attack looms closer, and Bauer has to use all his skills and experience to prevent it from happening. This episode also explores the political dimensions of the crisis and offers a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes machinations of those in power.
