Ep 1. Day 6: 6:00 A.M.-7:00 A.M.

Day 6: 6:00 A.M.-7:00 A.M. is the first episode of the sixth season of the action-packed, thrilling television series 24. The episode opens up with former Counter Terrorist Unit agent Jack Bauer who has been kidnapped by Chinese authorities after a dramatic sequence of events which ended season five. Bauer has been detained by the Chinese for over a year, and in this episode, he is being transported back to the United States. With Bauer's situation in limbo, retired CTU Chief Bill Buchanan is called upon to assist in dealing with the multiple crises. Bill then turns to Bauer's former colleagues, Chloe O'Brian and Thomas Lennox, to help the country deal with the ongoing threat from the terrorists.

As events begin to unfold, Jimmy, a field agent at CTU, finds himself in a difficult situation after he attempts to apprehend a suspected terrorist in a suburban home. While his mission was successful, he realizes that the terrorist's family are innocent and have been used to lure him into a trap. In the ensuing confrontation, Jimmy's life is put in danger, and he must use his skills to stay alive.

Elsewhere, former President Charles Logan is struggling to come to terms with his involvement in the events of the past, as well as his decision to allow Jack Bauer to be apprehended by the Chinese. He is in hiding and hoping that Bauer will not seek revenge on him, given their history.

With a series of crises unfolding one after another, the government turns to old alliances and partners and are forced to work with them. The episode ends with Bauer arriving in the U.S. and being delivered to the airport, a potential bargaining chip for the Chinese, who have stated that he can only enter the U.S. if he faces criminal charges for his supposed crimes.

Day 6: 6:00 A.M.-7:00 A.M. is an explosive first episode of a high-octane season that promises to take viewers on a ride of a lifetime.
