Jack Bauer tries to convince President Logan to tell the truth about the nerve gas conspiracy as he races against time to retrieve the recording that implicates the president. Meanwhile, the terrorists begin to realize that they have lost control over the nerve gas and are forced to make a deal with CTU. Marilyn Bauer contacts CTU to request protection for her and her son, but her information leads to a shocking discovery about her husband.
