Day 4: 11:00 A.M.-12:00 Noon is the fifth episode of the fourth season of the hit TV show 24. The show follows the life of Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland), an agent working for the Counter Terrorist Unit (CTU), as he navigates the treacherous world of national security.
In this episode, Jack is still on the search for the terrorist mastermind behind the current threat to national security. He discovers a lead which takes him to a nuclear power plant, where he meets up with his former love interest, Audrey Raines (Kim Raver), who now works for the Department of Defense. Together, they must navigate through the plant and its security systems in order to find the terrorist.
Meanwhile, CTU analyst Edgar Stiles (Louis Lombardi) discovers a glitch in the satellite imaging system that could lead to information about the whereabouts of the terrorist. He and Chloe O'Brian (Mary Lynn Rajskub), CTU's tech expert, work together to see if they can track the terrorist using this new information. However, their efforts are hampered by the interference of their superiors, who are more concerned with covering up mistakes than catching the terrorist.
Elsewhere in the episode, President Charles Logan (Gregory Itzin) deals with the fallout of a deadly plane crash and tries to work out a peace treaty with a Middle Eastern country. Adding to his stress is the unrelenting presence of his overbearing wife, First Lady Martha Logan (Jean Smart), who is still reeling from the emotional turmoil of the previous day.
As the episode progresses, it becomes clear that time is running out for Jack and the CTU team. The terrorist threat is becoming increasingly dire, and they have yet to find the mastermind behind it all. The tension builds to a heart-stopping climax as Jack and Audrey confront the terrorists at the nuclear power plant.
