Jack Bauer is running out of time to stop a catastrophic terrorist attack on Los Angeles. As the clock ticks down on Day 2, he must race to find the bomb and stop it before it detonates.
In this intense episode, tensions are high as Jack teams up with CTU Director Michelle Dessler to track down lead terrorist Syed Ali. Ali is the only person who knows where the bomb is located, and Jack must use all of his interrogation skills to extract the information before it's too late.
Meanwhile, President David Palmer faces pressure from his cabinet and the military to launch a preemptive strike against the countries suspected of sponsoring the terrorist attack. But Palmer must balance his duty to protect the country with his commitment to uphold the principles of democracy and justice.
As the hour progresses, the stakes continue to rise. Ali's daughter Nabila is brought in for questioning, and Jack must decide whether to use her as a bargaining chip to get her father to cooperate. Tensions between Jack and Michelle also flare up, as the pressure and stress of the situation take their toll.
In a race against time, Jack and CTU's best agents follow leads and chase down clues, hoping to find the bomb before it's too late. But with the clock ticking down and the terrorists always one step ahead, Jack realizes that he may have to make a sacrifice that could change everything.
As the hour comes to a close, the fate of Los Angeles hangs in the balance. Will Jack be able to stop the bomb and save the city? Or will his desperate efforts be in vain, leading to a catastrophic explosion that could change the course of history? Find out in "Day 2: 7:00 A.M.-8:00 A.M.," the pulse-pounding finale of 24's thrilling second season.
