Ep 20. Day 2: 3:00 A.M.-4:00 A.M.

Jack Bauer is still trying to find the evidence that will prove President Palmer was not involved in the three nuclear bombs that went off earlier that day. He knows that the evidence must be in the hands of the real bomber, but no one knows who that is. Meanwhile, Marie Warner, the sister of Kate Warner, who is dating Jack, is using her new security clearance to try and destroy the evidence incriminating their father Bob Warner in the bombing.

Jack and Kate confront Marie and demand to know what she has been doing. Marie tells them that she has been blackmailing her father Bob with some damaging evidence, but insists that Bob was not the bomber. She explains that she was approached by a man who threatened to kill her and her boyfriend if she didn't help him get the evidence he needed to blackmail the president.
