One young woman struggles with breathing problems as doctors work to determine the root cause of her condition. As a result, she is taken into intensive care while her loved ones anxiously wait for news.
A male patient with a dislocated ankle arrives at the hospital via ambulance after he fell off a ladder, and doctors work quickly to alleviate his pain and set the joint back into place.
Another patient is brought in with abdominal pains, and doctors are concerned that he may have an obstruction in his bowel. They conduct a series of tests to determine the cause of his discomfort and decide on a course of action.
We are also introduced to a woman who has suffered a head injury after falling from her horse. Despite the seriousness of her injury, doctors are determined to do everything they can to limit any potential long-term damage.
One of the most heartwarming stories in this episode centers around a little boy who falls off his scooter, injuring his face. His mother is by his side throughout the entire ordeal, and the staff at the hospital work tirelessly to make sure the young boy is comfortable and in good spirits.
