Max and Caroline are hoping to score a large order for their cupcakes when they attend a launch party for a new flavor. At the party, they unexpectedly meet Martha Stewart, who hires them to make cupcakes for her upcoming event. Excited about the opportunity, the girls agree but soon realize that working for Martha is not as glamorous as they thought. She is a tough critic and demands perfection from everyone around her. Meanwhile, Sophie shows up at the girls' apartment with a lookalike doll that she claims is a voodoo doll of herself. The girls are skeptical but soon find themselves in a series of bizarre and unexplainable situations that lead them to believe that the doll may actually hold some supernatural power. As they frantically try to figure out how to get rid of the doll, they also need to focus on making sure they deliver perfect cupcakes for Martha's event. Will they be able to handle the pressure and impress the domestic goddess herself?
