Max and Caroline decide to throw a Christmas dinner for their friends despite having no money. Caroline suggests they combine the holiday with Thanksgiving to save money, which Max agrees to. However, things start to go wrong when they realize they don't have enough money to buy a real turkey. To solve the problem, the girls decide to raise the money by selling cupcakes.
Meanwhile, Han is struggling to decide on a gift for his new girlfriend, a woman who has everything. He seeks the help of Caroline and Max, who suggest he give her a heartfelt gift rather than something expensive. He takes their advice and puts together a scrapbook of all their memories together, which she loves.
As the dinner party approaches, the girls face more obstacles. They accidentally burn the dinner rolls and don't have enough money to buy replacements. They also realize they forgot to invite their neighbor, Earl, and need to quickly come up with a plan to make it up to him.
Finally, the guests arrive and the dinner begins. Despite the mishaps, everyone has a good time thanks to the girls' efforts. And as a surprise, Earl brings over a cooked turkey he had saved for them from his own Thanksgiving dinner.
The episode ends with all of them happily celebrating around the table, grateful for their friendship and generosity.
