In the ninth episode of season 1 of "1,000 Ways to Die" titled "Death Be Not Stupid," get ready for a rollercoaster ride of fatal stupidity as this darkly comedic reality series presents three bizarre and unfortunate tales of untimely demise.

In the first segment, we are introduced to a hapless skateboarder named Tony. Tony fancies himself as quite the daredevil, always seeking the next adrenaline rush. However, his reckless behavior leads him to make a grave mistake. During one of his wild stunts, Tony takes his chances on a seemingly harmless hill. Little does he know, a combination of sheer stupidity and bad luck will lead him down a path of doom. Unbeknownst to Tony, a hidden sewer grate lies at the bottom of the hill, just waiting to become his tragic pitfall. As fate would have it, Tony's thrills soon turn to spills, and the consequences of his foolish choices lead to a horrific and unforgettable end.

In the second segment, we meet a young and impressionable couple, Lisa and Mike, who decide to explore the world of prescription drugs. In an attempt to enhance their romantic escapades, Lisa and Mike take advantage of a loophole in the healthcare system. They visit multiple doctors, deceiving each one into prescribing them the same medication. However, their insatiable desire for a wild night of passion unknowingly sets the stage for a deadly drug interaction. With their bodies ill-equipped to handle the excessive dosage, the couple finds themselves thrust into a tumultuous journey of love and tragedy. The consequences of their actions prove that ignorance truly can be lethal.

Finally, the third and final account brings us face-to-face with an individual who lived by the motto, "The bigger, the better." Fred, an eccentric chef, refuses to compromise on taste and presentation. When it comes to his special ingredient, however, Fred's enormous ego and hunger for culinary supremacy push him to the edge of reason. Despite numerous warning signs, Fred's determination to use dangerous blowfish liver, known to contain the deadly toxin tetrodotoxin, mirrors his own imminent demise. As he races against time to extract the toxin by consuming the lethal organ, Fred's audacity reaches new heights. With every bite, the walls of his kitchen become a ticking time bomb, and Fred must face whether his risk-taking behavior was worth the ultimate price.
