Carrying on with the show's theme of breaking out of comfort zones, the sixteenth episode of "100 Things To Do Before High School" - titled "Sit At A Different Lunch Table Thing!" - sees the show's trio of main characters, CJ, Fenwick, and Crispo, trying out the new thing of sitting at different lunch tables.
As the episode kicks off, CJ finds herself getting comfortable with sitting at the same lunch table with the same group of friends every day. This prompts her to add the challenge of sitting at a different lunch table to her list of things to do before high school with her friends. However, Crispo is initially hesitant to try out the challenge, knowing that it can be quite a daunting task to approach unfamiliar groups of people. As a result, CJ and Fenwick find some fun ways to help teach Crispo the art of making new friends.
Watching CJ and Fenwick's strategies in action, Crispo picks up some useful tips and confidently decides to dive in headfirst. He quickly finds a group of skateboarders at lunch who he shares a lot in common with and becomes fast friends with them. Meanwhile, CJ and Fenwick find it harder to find a new group of friends to sit with. After trying out different lunch tables, they finally settle on a table with some theater kids. However, they realize that they don't share any interests with this group of people and quickly realize that sitting together isn't everything.
As the episode unfolds, the trio learns that just because you sit at different lunch tables doesn't mean that you have to change who you are or the things that you like. They discover that it's important to find friends who share common interests and values and that sitting with just anyone isn't necessary. By the end of the episode, they realize that sitting at a different lunch table does not only mean finding new friends but also learning more about each other and themselves.
Overall, "Sit At A Different Lunch Table Thing!" is a fun and light-hearted episode that emphasizes the importance of stepping outside of one's comfort zone, making new friends, and discovering who you really are. As always, the show's cast is fully committed to their roles and keeps the audience entertained with their witty remarks and playful antics. This episode is a great exemplar of why "100 Things To Do Before High School" is an excellent series to explore the thoughts, emotions, and challenges of growing up.
