Carly, an 11-year-old middle school student, is determined to make the most of her years before high school by accomplishing 100 things on her bucket list. In the Pilot episode, Carly and her two best friends, Sam and Freddie, decide to skip school for a day and make a "Junior High Bucket List" of things they want to do before they graduate.
Their list includes riding a skateboard down the school hallway, sitting at the cool kid's lunch table, and getting detention. However, as they begin to check off their list, they quickly realize that it's not as easy as it seems. When they try to skateboard down the hallway, they end up crashing into the principal's office, and when they try to sit at the cool kid's table, they are promptly kicked out.
Determined to keep going, Carly and her friends come up with creative solutions to cross items off their list. They end up getting into a hilarious situation when they try to get detention by purposely making a mess in the school library, but things don't go exactly as planned.
Throughout the episode, Carly and her friends learn valuable lessons about friendship, perseverance, and the importance of being true to themselves. They also begin to realize that their bucket list isn't about doing crazy stunts or impressing their peers, but rather about finding their own passions and interests.
The Pilot episode sets the tone for the rest of the season, as Carly and her friends continue to cross off items on their bucket list and navigate the ups and downs of middle school life. With a mix of humor, heart, and relatable teenage experiences, 100 Things To Do Before High School is a must-watch show for tweens and teens.
