In the fourth episode of 100 Days Wild season 1, entitled "Zombie Fish Apocalypse," the group is still trying to settle into their new life off the grid in the Alaskan wilderness. The episode begins with an exploration of one of the many lakes in the area, where the cast members attempt to catch fish for dinner. They soon discover, however, that something is very wrong with the fish in the lake.
Fishermen, including John who is an experienced fisherman himself, find out that the fish they are catching are unusually aggressive and are behaving in a strange, erratic manner, which indicates the likelihood of a problem. The fish seem to be swimming erratically near the surface in a cloud, almost as if they're disoriented or infected with something.
The group quickly begins to worry that they may be dealing with a potential ecological disaster, or even an outbreak of disease. They track down experts in the area and try to figure out what could possibly be causing the strange behavior in the lake.
As they work to solve the mystery of the fish, the group also has to deal with other challenges of living off the grid. For example, they must figure out how to deal with waste management when they are a significant distance from any kind of infrastructure or waste removal service. This proves especially challenging for one member of the group who is struggling with a gastrointestinal issue.
Meanwhile, tensions continue to mount between some of the group members, as they struggle to adapt to their new lifestyle and get along with one another. This is especially true for the two members who have taken on the role of leadership in the group, who are starting to clash in a way that could potentially tear the group apart.
As the episode progresses, the source of the fish's strange behavior is ultimately discovered, and the group works to figure out how to deal with it. Their discovery leads to a dramatic, action-packed conclusion to the episode that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
Overall, "Zombie Fish Apocalypse" is an engaging and suspenseful episode of 100 Days Wild that highlights both the challenges and rewards of living off the grid. It offers a unique look at what it takes to survive in the wild, both in terms of physical challenges and survival of the mind.
