YouTube Accidentally Pulls Kate Upton 'Cat Daddy' Video for 'Sexual Content' (Watch It Here)
by Andy NeuenschwanderPhotographer Terry Richardson has always been provocative, but this plan was a pretty good one: take a video of supermodel Kate Upton dancing in a bikini, put it on YouTube, and just watch the pageviews roll in, giving both him and Upton tons of exposure.
There was a problem, though: YouTube thought the video was a little TOO racy.
Upton, who rose to fame as a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model (and graced the cover of this year's issue), shows off her "cat daddy" dance in the video. The video was quickly picked up by TMZ, and the pageviews took off. But shortly after that, YouTube took the video down, and a message saying that it violated the site's terms of use for sexual content stood in its place.
As it turns out, that was just a big mistake. A YouTube spokesman explained today, saying that the "massive volume of videos" that go up every day lead the site to "make the wrong call." The video was reinstated yesterday, and has already amassed nearly 1.5 million views.
Upton, for her part, is enjoying booming success of late: the actress is appearing in commercials and even movies thanks to her modeling success, most recently having appeared in "The Three Stooges" as a scantily clad nun.
