You Can Now Visit a Harry Potter Themed Hotel
by Andy NeuenschwanderNow that you can go to both Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade at Universal Studios, isn't it time you stayed the night in Hogwarts?
A hotel in London has done a bit of remodeling to offer the ultimate Harry Potter experience for fans: hotel rooms that are designed to look like the common rooms in Hogwarts castle!
The Georgian House Hotel in London has redecorated their suites to give fans the impression that they're staying in the dorm rooms from the "Harry Potter" series. The rooms include castle-like accents, potion bottles and spell books, and tapestries and decorations that have the colors of the different Hogwarts houses.
You'll be paying a steeper price for the experience, as rooms start at £250 a night. If you're looking for more immersion into the Potterverse, you can buy package deals starting at £363 a night that include passes to the Warner Bros. studio and some famous London locations where scenes from the movies were filmed.
So, if you've ever wanted to really feel like a Gryffindor, now's your chance!
We're not sure why Universal Studios in Orlando hasn't already followed suit and built a Potter-themed resort hotel, but we're willing to bet it's not far off.
