If Bob Marley hadn't passed away in 1981, after succumbing to cancer from a malignant melanoma, he'd be 65 years old today.
The reggae legend and transformative musical figure died of complications from brain cancer, which ultimately resulted from a poorly treated malignant tumor that started in his toe.
Marley died on May 11, 1981, but not before introducing millions to the joy of reggae and serving as a vocal advocate for peace (and dope-smoking) throughout the globe.
In honor of Bob Marley's birthday, we harken back to yee olde days of 2010, with this priceless video of a crying baby who calms down by feeling the reggae god's mellow mood via "Buffalo Soldier."
