'X Factor' Host Choices Down to Three
by Andy NeuenschwanderBelieve it or not, "The X Factor" does not yet have a host lined up for this season, even though three episodes have already aired. It would appear that the show is not planning on using a host until the live shows begin, so the search has gone on into the start of the second season.
But the shortlist for the job is out there, and according to TMZ the list is down to just three names: Khloe Kardashian, Mario Lopez and Corbin Bleu.
We have known about Khloe for a couple of weeks now, but the addition of Lopez and Bleu into the mix is interesting. Lopez has plenty of hosting experience, having helmed "Extra" for the past five years, and that might be just what "X Factor" needs. When you consider that Khloe is that high up on the list and has almost zero hosting experience, you can bet that the show will want someone seasoned to co-host with her.
As for Bleu, the former "High School Musical" star is an interesting name to add to the pile. Bleu has no hosting experience to speak of, and is also not exactly a household name, so you have to wonder how "X Factor" thinks it's better off with him than fired season one host Steve Jones.
Keep an eye on this one, as there should be a decision sometime soon. We might be seeing a lot more of Khloe in the near future.
