'The X Factor' Final 16: Watch the Over 30s' Performances (VIDEO)

'The X Factor' Final 16: Watch the Over 30s' Performances (VIDEO) After the high-pressure auditions, the grueling Boot Camp, and the stressful performances at the judges' homes, the final 16 (17, really) for "The X Factor" have been decided.

The character-filled Over 30's group has some undeniable talent, but it has also been one to watch for the stories. As the contestants in the category are older, many of them have either tried and failed before or else never given themselves a shot, making their time in the competition that much more important.

The four that will be moving on to the live round with their mentor Nicole Scherzinger are LeRoy Bell, the oldest competitor at age 60 (he doesn't look it); Josh Krajcik, the burrito-slinger; Dexter Haygood, a former backup singer who is now homeless; and Stacey Francis, a single mother with a powerful voice.

A favorite to make the finale is tough to pick: Dexter has character and a sympathetic backstory, but he has yet to prove that he can perform as himself and not just a Mick Jagger or James Brown imitator. LeRoy Bell has a smooth voice, but lacks the flashiness of the others. Josh has a powerful voice, but might be a bit too rough around the edges to be a true star. Among them, Stacey Francis might have the best shot... and she's certainly had a lot of screen time thus far.
