'The X Factor': The 5 Best Auditions (VIDEO)

'The X Factor': The 5 Best Auditions (VIDEO) After two weeks containing four episodes for a total of eight hours of television, the auditions for "The X Factor" have finally wrapped up. The contestants for boot camp are set, which means there will be no more gimmicks, no more crappy audition performances, and hopefully no more people dropping their pants.

So, out of all the contestants that got a "yes," who gave the best auditions? Some of them were breathtaking for the quality of the vocals, others caught the judges' eye for entertainment value, and a few were big surprises. Here are the top five that met one or more of those criteria:

Brian Bradley

Brian Bradley is just 14 years old, but his confidence and showmanship impressed all of the judges... except for Simon, with whom Brian picked a fight as soon as he came out. When Simon leaned over to say something to L.A. Reid, Brian threw down his glasses and hat and launched into his rap, "Stop Looking At My Mom." The performance was so memorable that "STOP LOOKING AT MY MOM" trended on Twitter almost immediately afterward.

Jazzlyn Little

Jazzlyn, 16, was clearly worrying Simon when she came on stage. She was shaking from the nerves, and when Simon asked her if she had put any of her singing on YouTube, she responded by saying that she had put up only one, it hadn't gotten too many views, and she blamed the low view count on herself. "You're not selling yourself very well," said Simon... but when Jazzlyn started singing, it did all the selling for her.

Josh Krajcik

It was tough to tell what Josh would be like when he got on stage. His mom came with him and was talking about him in such overly glowing terms that you had to assume she was delusional. Plus, the fact that Josh worked at a burrito place and didn't have any professional music experience didn't help his case. But Josh absolutely rocked his audition, surprising the judges (and probably most of us at home as well).

Melanie Amaro

A soft-spoken college student, Melanie Amaro was a tough one to read. She was either going to be pretty weak or very, very strong... and it ended up being the latter. In fact, Melanie's rendition of "Listen" was so good that she was featured very prominently in just about every commercial for "The X Factor." She'll be going far in this competition, for sure.

Stacy Francis

"I don't want to die with this music inside me, Simon," said Stacy Francis as she was interviewed before her audition. This 30-something singer said that she had lived a life that had always held her back from her music, and she regretted it. That lead her to give an audition that was not only technically solid, but also emotionally connected. You know you did a good job when Simon says you gave "one of the best auditions I've ever seen."
