'Wrinkle in Time' Infiltrates Comic-Con

A Wrinkle in Time already conquered the internet last week when the first trailer dropped. Now, the ambitious project from director Ava DuVernay is taking on San Diego Comic-Con.

Though Disney is not having a panel to show off Wrinkle in Time (like Star Wars and Pixar, the film got its due last weekend at D23), the studio on Thursday is executing a stunt to get more people hyped for it.

Re-creating one of the more arresting moments in the trailer, a group of 30 children and retro-dress housewives are popping up in various locations around the Convention Center, red rubber balls in hand, dribbling as they go. They end up in front of a bus with a Wrinkle in Time display, which includes different images from the film.
