'Harry Potter' Meets 'Twilight': Emma Watson Looking to Star Opposite Taylor Lautner in 'Incarceron'

Prepare for a torrent of OMGs all across the land - Emma Watson and Taylor Lautner, together at last.

Now, it's not official just yet. Just Jared is reporting that Watson is the top contender in a film Lautner is already attached to. The film in question, "Incarceron," is about a young man, Finn (Lautner), who experiences vivid flashbacks to life on the Outside, despite only having clear memories of life in the enormous prison Incarceron.

How enormous, you ask? Big enough to hold cities, forests, seas, and Lautner's abs. We're talking huge. Because of his visions, many believe him to be a starseer, one prophesied to escape. So his choices are either stay in prison or do what everyone tells him - these kids trapped in a hero's journey really get the raw end of the deal.

Watson would play the warden's daughter, Claudia, who is engaged to the Queen's son (apparently there's a Queen inside the prison) despite having no feelings for him. There's also an underground organization set on overthrowing the whole operation. Like I said, this is one big prison.

Life after franchises is always dicey for an actor still in the very early stages of their career. Watson no doubt has her share of offers on the table.

She's grown into a very strong actress throughout the Harry Potter series, which culminates this summer with "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2."

She confirmed yesterday via her Facebook page that she joined the cast of "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" alongside Logan Lerman, and after "Harry Potter" will be seen in "My Week With Marilyn" alongside Michelle Williams.

"Incarceron" could prove the balance she needs between keeping a visible profile and acting in a wider variety of genres.
