Woman Spends $20k to Implant 3rd Breast, Angles for MTV Reality Show

We're not saying that MTV's "True Life" is a bastion of culture and taste, but this might be pushing it.

A Florida woman by the name of Jasmine Tridevil is angling for an MTV reality show after spending $20,000 on plastic surgery in order to have a third breast implanted on her chest.

Tridevil, a massage therapist, also claims that she went through with the procedure because she doesn't want to be attractive to men anymore.

"It was really hard finding someone that would do it, too, because they’re breaking the code of ethics," Tridevil said in an interview.

But is it even real? Many have speculated that the whole thing is a hoax, and that some prosthetics and makeup could easily replicate the effect. At least, it worked in both versions of "Total Recall."

Still, Tridevil seems to be serious about the surgery, and tells details about how it worked. For example, she claims that the doctor couldn't create an areola for her, so she had one tattooed on. She even has video of her family's reactions, which she hopes to use in the reality show.

"My mom ran out the door," Tridevil says. "She won't talk to me."
