Willow Smith 'Raises The Roof' and Resurrects a City in New Video: 21st Century Girl

Willow Smith 'Raises The Roof' and Resurrects a City in New Video: 21st Century Girl Willow Smith is rocking out with another “girl power” video for the single "21st Century Girl."

The song debuted on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" on Tuesday. In the television debut, WIllow Smith and her background dancers performed the song for Oprah's adult audience during the show that featured the show's all-time smartest and most talented kids.

Smith is currently on tour, opening for Justin Bieber, and recently won the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding New Artist.

In the video, the feisty, hair-whipping 10-year-old sings that she was “born to be wild” amid a baron desert. Her adorable friends come out to jam, of course. Together in crayola-like bright clothing, they “live it up” and resurrect an entire city out of the desert floor.

With no adults in sight, and the addition of a baby, the video ends with the group dancing and stomping around a car. Who’s driving? Who cares?

The real question Willow asks on Twitter:

“Have you checked out the 21st Century Girl Video?”
