William Shatner Joins 'Psych'...Plus, 'Psych' Video Game in the Works?

William Shatner Joins 'Psych'...Plus, 'Psych' Video Game in the Works? USA's comedy series "Psych" has been busy: not only is it adding a veteran actor to its upcoming sixth season, but it also has a video game in the works!

Actor William Shatner has signed on to appear in an arc on the next season of "Psych." Shatner, who is famous for his beginnings on the original "Star Trek," will be playing the estranged father of detective Juliet O'Hara, who has been missing from her life as he roamed around as a con man.

This is a nice get for Shatner, who was recently unemployed after freshman CBS show "$#*! My Dad Says" was cancelled.

Meanwhile, USA has teamed up with Legacy Interactive to create a "Psych" video game. Yes, you read that right: a "Psych" video game. Legacy has created an entire series of casual games called "Hollywood Hits," which include video games for shows like "House," "Ghost Whisperer," "Criminal Minds," and even "Murder, She Wrote."

The game will feature "light adventure gameplay with challenging hidden object searches," according to USA's press release. You'll be able to play a 30-minute demo version of the game when it releases on USA's Character Arcade site, which also features a set of other casual games.
