Some sources say that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are splitting up because he's tired of how wild she is. Other sources say the opposite is true, that Miley thinks Liam parties too hard. Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth broke up because the “Hunger Games” actor couldn’t keep up with her whirlwind social life, Page Six is told.
Pictures of the “Wrecking Ball” singer making out with another woman on an Italian beach created a tidal wave of reports that the seven-month marriage had ended over an affair.
But sources tell us that Cyrus is “acting like the ‘old Miley’ again,” referring to the singer’s public antics in her youth, “and he wants a normal, settled-down life.”
Multiple sources said that while Cyrus is certainly enjoying herself right now, she’s as “healthy as she’s ever been, focusing on her music.”
Meanwhile, in spite of the shots of Cyrus smooching with reality star Kaitlynn Carter — which appeared online a day after Cyrus and Hemsworth announced their split — a source said, “Miley was never unfaithful. She never hooked up with girls while she was married. It wasn’t a part of the relationship.” The source reiterated, “There was no hooking up behind his back or with his knowledge.”

Miley Cyrus‘ public image may be that of a wild child, but sources say the singer fought with Liam Hemsworth privately about his own partying ways.
“Everyone always thinks Miley is problematic and immature and a hardcore partier while he’s this chill surfer dude, but that’s actually [not accurate],” a friend of the couple tells PEOPLE exclusively. “Liam parties with his friends, and Miley thinks he should’ve grown out of that by now.”
Another Cyrus source, who agrees Hemsworth’s personality is much more complicated than the “super easygoing” public image that’s presented, says the actor can get “moody.”
“She’s been supportive of him when things get dark, but it’s tough,” says the Cyrus source. “That’s something that has weighed on Miley and their relationship. He can also lash out at her, and he hates the attention their ups and downs bring.”
