What's In Theaters This Weekend: May 20th Movie Debuts (Watch Trailers for 'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides' and 'Midnight in Paris')

It looks like no one wanted to compete with Captain Jack Sparrow and "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" and we can't blame them! Only one film will open today in wide release in the U.S. Another movie, Woody Allen's "Midnight in Paris," opens in NYC and LA.

Four years after "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" opened, the uber-popular fantasy franchise is back with another action-packed quest, this time for the fountain of youth.

Critics are giving the film so-so ratings, basically the plot is more of the same swash-buckling antics. For fans who don't expect more than that, you'll love it.

Regardless of the lukewarm reviews the film is guaranteed to be a box office smash.

"Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides": Johnny Depp is back as Jack Sparrow in this "Pirates" sequel and this time he is after the fountain of youth. He must get to it before Blackbeard and his daughter find it. Penelope Cruz stars as Angelica, the beautiful daughter of Blackbeard. Geoffrey Rush, Ian McShane and Kevin McNally also star. Rated PG-13.

"Midnight in Paris": When a writer goes on a trip to Paris with his fiancée and her family he finds himself exploring the city streets alone and reevaluating his life. Written and directed by Woody Allen, the film stars Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams, Marion Cotillard, Michael Sheen and Kathy Bates. Rated PG-13.
