What's Coming Up For 'American Horror Story: Asylum?' What on earth is going down with “American Horror Story: Asylum?”

Beware… some minor spoilers may be ahead.

First of all we have newly pregnant Jenna Dewan-Tatum, who played horny and ill-fated Teresa beside Adam Levine , announcing that she will return to the show.

Which is surprising news, considering her character was skinned alive by psychopath Dylan McDermott…

“Even though it seems as if I’m dead and skinned alive, I’m shockingly in another episode. Anything is possible on that show,” Dewan-Tatum has hinted.

And what about that strange musical number on the last episode, “The Name Game?”

Creator Ryan Murphy tells audiences it’s hiding a clue about the third season…

“It’s not done like it was last year. It’s a different kind of clue. You really have to be quick and watch. I made sure to put it in there for the fans because I know people loved that last year—figuring it out.”

Murphy is referring to the 11th episode of the first season, when Sarah Paulson’s character hinted that certain places, such as asylums and prisons, harbor evil energy… thus leading into the asylum-based second season.

What did Jessica Lange, who plays Sister Jude, think about filming the strangely out-of-keeping “The Name Game” episode?

“I thought, ‘Have we crossed a line? Are we gonna actually be able to pull this off?’” The star said.

So what’s in store for Sister Jude?

Lange hints that Murphy has told her that her “character this season would go from one extreme to the other, from being thevery rigid, ideological, blind pedagogue nun to someone who is completely mad and then at the end is redeemed… She certainly goes further down the rabbit hole, almost to the point of being irredeemable.”

Lange added, “But something happens. Ryan felt very strongly that he wanted this character to somehow, not have a happy ending, but … I don’t know, I think he really liked this character. He had sympathy for her, and he wanted … to give her a moment of some kind of peace at the end.”
