Weird Al's Parody of Lorde's 'Royals' Takes a Hilarious Turn

Weird Al's Parody of Lorde's 'Royals' Takes a Hilarious Turn Weird Al Yankovic has done it again!

This week, Weird Al is releasing one music video a day from his new album, "Mandatory Fun." He kicked things off on Monday with "Tacky," a song that parodies Pharrell's "Happy" and mocks people with no taste. On Tuesday, he went viral with "Word Crimes," a song parodying "Blurred Lines" that implores the people of the Internet to use proper grammar.

Today's offering is almost a parody of a Weird Al parody. It's called "Foil," and it's a parody of Lorde's major hit "Royals." It starts off innocently enough, but it takes a pretty major turn. We won't spoil it for you.

Of course, Al is late to the game in terms of parodies of this particular song. "Royals" was so big that YouTube is absolutely littered with parodies ranging from the terrible to the super terrible. It's all yet another reminder why Weird Al is the king of parodies.

Check out Al's video for "Foil" below. And watch out for lizard people.
