(WARNING. Contains some "Paranormal Activity" series spoilers. If you don't want 'em, just scroll directly down to the trailer.)

Nobody plays social media and simple fan demand for big release numbers like "Paranormal Activity."

With "Paranormal Activity 4" continuing the new Halloween tradition and hitting theaters Oct. 19, Paramount is still in the midst of its "WantIt" text and social media campaign to get the supernatural thriller sequel before audiences nationwide.

So naturally, there's time to squeeze in another teaser or two.

Of course, anything glimpsed before Oct. 19 must be taken with liberal salt. "Paranormal Activity 3" pulled a nigh-unprecedented bait-and-switch by including about one fourth of footage in trailers in the actual movie. While the movie itself wasn't terrible, some glaring plot holes aside, fans absolutely noticed what wasn't there as much as what made the final cut.

On the other hand, the $5-million movie grossed $205.7 million, along the way setting records for biggest horror film midnight opening ($8 million), best horror-film opening day with $26.2 million, biggest October opening weekend, biggest fall opening weekend, and biggest opener for the franchise yet with $52.6 million taken.

After the part-three prequel exploring the early ghostly torment of Katie and Kristi Featherstone, this one's headed back to the events following Katie murdering her sister and husband in "Paranormal Activity 2" and kidnapping her baby nephew Hunter. Now, Skype-happy teenager Alex is occupying the late Kristi's home and being tormented by Katie, Hunter and the shadowy, malevolent spirit "Toby."
