Wednesday (10/24) TV Ratings: Many Scripted Shows Rose; But Who Won The Night?
by Nicholas PageFOX won the night with Game 1 of the World Series. Despite FOX's win the other networks have reasons to celebrate as well.
While NBC came in third for the night, Chicago Fire (6.3/1.8) jumped 20 percent, the steepest jump of the night. Law and order: SVU (6.7/1.8) was steady but Guys With Kids (3.8/1.3) fell to a new low.
CBS tied ABC for second place. Survivor (10.1/2.8) and Criminal Minds (11.5/3) were both strong while CSI (9.8/2.4) won it's time slot.
ABC's comedy block all rose in the ratings but the star of the night was Modern Family (12.4/4.9), making it the strongest show of the night. Freshman Drama Nashville (6.6/ 2.0) was steady after last weeks decline.
Over at The CW Arrow (3.5/1.1) and Supernatural (1.8/ 0.7) all fell slightly.
