'We Are Men' Season 1, Episode 2: 'We Are Dognappers' Recap

Things are good.

Gil is taking daughter Maisie on her first campout.

Stuart's ex Amy is ready to finally settle. She wants, however, to keep the dog Peaches.

The apartment complex is throwing Frank's favorite party, Tiki night.

And Carter? He's excited to get to know Abby better. He finds her down in the laundry room, stripping the clothes off over her bathing suit. Frank comes up and frightens Carter.

While hiking, Stuart sees a dog walker with Peaches. They talk, and Stu finds out that Amy isn't walking Peaches or keeping her on her special diet; in fact she is not much of a dog person overall.

Frank finds Carter lurking in the laundry room and brings him to storage. He gives Carter a lecture on paternal instinct, pulling out axes and knives while he searches for a tent to loan to Gil's daughter.

Maisie has canceled, however. Everyone seems down, annoying Frank, who wants Tiki Night to be the best ever. He decides he'll help Stu, so everyone can come back and have a good time.

They go to Amy's to break in. They enlist the help of neighbor boy Jacob, who sneaks through the dog door. They find out, however, that Peaches is with the dog walker and won't be back for about 20 minutes. The boys begin raiding the house but Stu tells them they can't touch anything.

Carter sneaks over to talk to Stu about Abby. He wants to bring the subject up with Frank.

The boys find Stuart's wedding video. They note how in love he seemed. Unfortunately, the video transitions into the honeymoon video...

Stuart gets a call from his "crazy" patient, and has to rush to the hospital. He leaves. The dog walker shows up, and drops Peaches off, as the guys hide in the closet. When she leaves, they go out to get Peaches, but the dog attacks them. They retreat.

Gil gets a call from his daughter, crying at the sleepover she chose over camping. Gil tells her he will go get her, and busts out the door. He loses his pants but makes it outside, only to alert the others that Amy is home.

Carter and Frank go out, and Peaches comes up to them - Gil was apparently right, she is racist. She has no issue with the other guys.

They sneak out behind Amy.

The two celebrate their win, but when Carter uses it as a moment to bring up Abby, Frank shoots him down. He notes that Carter has just gotten out a relationship, and needs to go crazy for a while. They can talk about it after... a good three, to five, years.

They reunite Peaches with Stuart. Amy, however, is alerted by the neighbor boy and shows up wanting Peaches. She and Stuart fight, and end up kissing.

Unfortunately, Frank is stuck in the bathroom hiding Peaches. He texts Carter for help, but Carter uses the moment to go talk to Abby.

Gil, meanwhile, gets the camp out he wanted... in the backyard.

Amy, despite the sex, is calling off the settlement. However, she will give in on one thing... and share custody of Peaches.
