Watch 'X Factor' Winner Melanie Amaro's Super Bowl Commercial

Melanie Amaro Super Bowl It seems that nobody is waiting for Sunday to start showing off their Super Bowl commercials. Not even Pepsi, who has a lot of hype riding on their ad, showed enough patience.

The hype comes from the commercial's new young star: "The X Factor" winner Melanie Amaro. The commercial was part of her season one prize package (along with a $5 million recording contract), and if you watched "X Factor" you know exactly how big a deal everyone made out of it. They pretty much reminded us about it every other minute.

To keep the commercial from being too focused on Amaro, who is still unknown to many, the ad also features Elton John as a slightly bitchy king who only gives Pepsi to those who entertain him. That's not the jester at the beginning, who it looks like is being played by that one guy from "Glee."

But Amaro comes in and belts "Respect," winning the king over... until he gets dumped down a trap door. That explains what happened to the very quiet-of-recent Flava Flav. Also, is that Astrid from "Fringe" in the crowd?
