Watch the Video for Lady Gaga's 'Edge of Glory'

Watch the Video for Lady Gaga's 'Edge of Glory' After performing the song on "American Idol" this season, Lady Gaga finally dropped the video for "Edge of Glory" last night, and it's a weird one - but not in the way you'd expect.

Gaga tweeted last night about the video:

“Directed By Haus of Gaga. Fashion from the last collection of the legendary Gianni Versace. THE EDGE OF GLORY VIDEO.”

The stripped down video features Gaga, clad in Versace, singing and leaning over a few railings on a set that looks suspiciously like something you might see on Sesame Street. Only with purple lighting. And a whole lot of "The Big Man" Clarence Clemons, the legendary saxophonist from Bruce Springsteen's band. Clemons performed "Edge of Glory" with Gaga on "Idol" and recently suffered a severe stroke.

When news broke a few days ago about Clemons' health problems, Gaga tweeted, "Little monsters, my very close friend + musician on The Edge of Glory, Clarence Clemons is very sick. Can we all make some get well videos?"

While support has been rolling in for Clemons, haters are already hatin' on the video, unjustly blaming music video director Joseph Kahn for what they see as a sub-par effort from Gaga.

“For the record, some Gaga fans tweeting me here are really mean and nasty,” Kahn tweeted, though he made sure to point out that “I did NOT direct Lady Gaga’s ‘Edge of Glory’ video. Lady Gaga did.”
