Watch The 'True Blood' Season Six Promo: Gore, Fire, and Abs Galore!

“True Blood” fans, rejoice! A teaser has been released for season six, which premieres June 16th.
Though the teaser doesn’t reveal much (except the familiar and perfectly arranged bare chest of an angry-looking Alcide), it gives fans a big dose of upcoming drama in its meager thirty seconds—including a raging Bill/Lilith (fondly known around the Internets as “Billith”) looking like he hasn’t quite calmed down.
“There’s no one left to protect us now,” says a voice that seems to be Tara, as she and her new lover Pam have a violent spat.
“A tyrant is rising,” says another unseen character as the camera pans over a mysterious bearded man. Can this be the Warlow that may hold secrets regarding the death of Sookie and Jason’s parents? “Is it the beginning of the end.”
Judging by the amount of blood, guns, and sad faces they’ve packed into this short video, it might just be.
“You’re all gonna burn,” the newer, bloodier Bill warns as he strides from the blazing headquarters of the Authority, and the voice of Eric Northman says stoically, “If the humans want war—we’ll give them war.”
So, fair guess that the new season will feature some major bloodshed between the vampires and the humans. Especially with crazy-fanged Bill leading the charge… and burning everything that stands in his way.
