Watch the Trippy Trailer for 'Dr. Seuss' The Lorax'

The trailer for "The Lorax" is finally here, and it looks like one of Dr. Seuss' classics is once again going to get a major overhaul.

Dr. Seuss movies have been varied thus far in style, critical praise, and box office success. Thankfully, "The Lorax" is in the vein of the animated and very successful "Horton Hears a Who" as opposed to the live-action "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and "The Cat in the Hat," which were not well reviewed.

The challenge with Dr. Seuss movies is always in translating a short story to a feature-length film, which inevitably involves adding much more plot that wasn't even hinted at in the book. In this case, there's a whole love story involved: a boy (voiced by Zac Efron) wants to go find the long-missing truffula trees for a girl (voiced by Taylor Swift).

He finds the Lorax (voiced by Danny DeVito), and we see the story of how the Once-ler (voiced by Ed Helms) cut down the trees and led to their near extinction.

DeVito is an interesting and exceptionally gruff choice for the Lorax, but it works. The trailer reveals some very pretty animation as well, the kind of stuff we've come to expect from this team (they also made "Despicable Me").

And yes, the Polyphonic Spree song is a little overused, but I'll never stop loving it and I think it fits nicely with the whimsical nature of the trailer.
