Watch the Trailer for 'The Vampire Diaries' Season 4!

Finally, the first trailer for "The Vampire Diaries" season 4 is out, and fans can get their first glimpse of footage from the upcoming season. Considering the changes that are about to take place, it's going to be a big one.

The focus of the trailer is, of course, on Elena's transformation into a vampire. In fact, a goodly amount of the season will likely focus on Elena adapting to this new life.

Or should I say refusing to adapt? The trailer shows that Elena is clearly not happy with the "life-saving" meddling that has allowed her to still be walking and talking. She's unwilling to feed, which is a problem at this critical point: if she doesn't feed by the end of the day, explains Stefan, she will die.

Speaking of Stefan, it looks like he's in a rough spot as well, with dozens of guns pointed at him. And what of Bonnie, who looks to be having some trouble with a spell? Is she attempting to reverse Elena's transformation? Was Damon wrong, and is there actually a way to go back?
