Watch the Trailer for 'Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter'

Though it looks like "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" might not see the light of day anytime soon, the trailer for writer Seth Grahame-Smith's other project, "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter," has just hit the Web today.

The trailer shows us the first footage of our nation's 16th president (played by Benjamin Walker) as he battles vampires by night and deals with the struggles of the Civil War during the day. It looks like we're going to see a lot of fancy axe work from Lincoln and from his wife Mary Todd (played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead), and the sort of action scenes you would expect from the guy who directed "Wanted."

Case in point: the clip of a scene on a train on a broken track over a burning bridge alongside a mountain.

The whole thing seems to be taking itself very seriously for a movie that centers on Abraham Lincoln killing vampires, but maybe that's the point: take the subject incredibly seriously and let the irony come out on its own.
