Watch The Third and Final 'Star Trek: Into Darkness' Trailer Here!

The final theatrical trailer for “Star Trek: Into Darkness” has dropped!

Some of it is old news by this point… like the attack on London, Chris Pine looking stoic as Kirk, and Zoe Saldana as Uhura moving in for the kiss (on Benedict Cumberbatch’s John Harrison??).

The movie also gives us a glimpse of some Klingons, a giant ship appearing out of nowhere as Cumberbatch narrates a threat to Kirk, and some serious damage to the Enterprise.

“Darkness is coming,” Cumberbatch’s heavy voice intones, and “This could be just the beginning,” our crew realizes.

“Beginning of what?”

All out war.”

Creepy indeed! Throw in some epic shots of the destruction wreaked by the unstoppable (though Kirk is determined), mysterious John Harrison, who warns, “Now, we shall begin.”

The trailer seems to focus a lot on Pine as Kirk, rather than just the very evil John Harrison.

“I think a lot of maturing happens in this film for Kirk, for a man who thinks he knows everything and leads with his gut and leads with his heart, and is all kind of passion and heart,”Pine said at this year’s CinemaCon.

“He’s a man that has to learn to censor himself sometimes, and our bad guy, John Harrison, basically levels this mirror in front of Kirk in which he sees all of his vulnerabilities and his fallibility and everything that is wrong with how he leads his men and women into battle. And it brings him to his knees.”

Simon Pegg tweeted, “Last trailer. If this doesn't convince you, nothing will."

Are you convinced?

The film also stars Zachary Quinto, Bruce Greenwood, John Cho, Karl Urban, Anton Yelchin, and Alice Eve.

It will hit UK cinemas on May 9, and bust into U.S. theaters May 17th.
