Watch the Teaser Trailer for the Bin Laden Movie 'Zero Dark Thirty'

Right around this time last year, when people were still buzzing about the death of Osama Bin Laden, it came to light that there was already a movie in development on the subject. Somebody in Hollywood had a terrific sense of timing.

That somebody was Kathryn Bigelow, director of "The Hurt Locker," who had been developing her movie about the hunt for Bin Laden for some time before the team of Navy SEALs burst into Bin Laden's compound and shot him dead. Naturally, that film project, which at the time was titled "Killing Bin Laden," became the most sought-after project in Hollywood, despite the fact that it was more about the hunt for the Al-Qaeda leader and the fact that we hadn't caught him yet.

Now the teaser trailer is out for the movie, which has shifted both its focus and its title: it's now called "Zero Dark Thirty" and is still about the hunt for Bin Laden, but also includes a dramatization of the night that SEAL Team 6 took down the world's most notorious terrorist.

There isn't a ton of footage in the teaser, but it does set the tone of the movie pretty well: it looks like this will be a thriller of sorts, with increasing pacing as the hunt heats up. The cast includes Joel Edgerton, Jessica Chastain, Mark Strong, "Friday Night Lights" star Kyle Chandler, "Lost" star Harold Perrineau, and many others.
